Il corso fornisce una conoscenza operativa su infrastrutture di rete Cisco in ambito Data Center con particolare riferimento alla famiglia Cisco Nexus 7700, 5600 e 1000v. Il corso prevede una panoramica introduttiva sulle Architetture Data Center e getta le basi sulla comprensione dei domini di virtualizzazione necessari per la realizzazione di meccanismi di automazione e orchestrazione che trovano sempre più spesso campi di interesse ed in ambito enterprise ed in ambito service provider. La gestione operativa del network, le sue possibilità di astrazione, l'interfaccia verso ambienti applicativi virtualizzati (VMWARE) con l'inclusione dello storage (MDS) sia esso connesso in modalità fiber channel o fiber channel over ethernet completano il corso.
